Electrolysis During Pregnancy

Pregnancy is a wonderful experience that we enjoy sharing with our expecting customers! When the proper procedure is applied, electrolysis during pregnancy is deemed safe. This page will educate you on the dos and don’ts of permanent hair removal while pregnant. Which electrolysis method is regarded safe during pregnancy?

There are three types of electrolysis: thermolysis, galvanic, and “mix” (a combination of the two). The thermolysis process, which we use at Real Styling Solutions, is deemed safe during pregnancy.

How does thermolysis work? Thermolysis, often known as “short-wave,” works by delivering heat into each hair follicle, inhibiting its capacity to generate additional hair. The follicle is either destroyed instantly or weakens over time, eventually ceasing to produce hair entirely.

The main difference between this and the galvanic technique of unwanted hair removal during pregnancy is that the galvanic approach generates an electric circuit across the body, whereas thermolysis does not.

Hair growth during pregnancy, because of the increased hair growth that expecting moms typically experience, the issue of electrolysis during pregnancy is particularly popular. Androgens increase hair development during pregnancy, both in areas where hair already grows and, in some cases, in areas where there was previously no substantial hair growth.

Regular waxing, shaving, and so forth are especially bothersome when pregnant, thus many expectant moms resort to electrolysis to prevent hormonal hair growth. Many women discover that this growth stops after six months or so, but for others, the hair just stays. That’s where we come in!
